Book your call | Haven Wealth Management

What inspired you to reach out?

Pick anything that fits. Most people choose more than one.

Choose at least one so I know where to start.

In your own words, what would make these 30 minutes worth it?

Write it the way you'd say it out loud. The more I know going in, the less of the call we spend catching me up.

A sentence or two is plenty.

Tell me a bit more so I can prepare properly. A sentence or two does it.

Where do you live?

Canadian rules are what I know, and they change by province.

Let me know where you're based.

Last part. Where should I send your call details?

You'll get a short video on what to bring, and your booking link.

Check your name and email, and tick the box so I'm allowed to write to you.

You're through. Let's find a time.

Your booking link is on its way to , along with a short video on what to have handy.

Two things worth knowing: the link works once, so book when you have your calendar open, and thirty minutes goes faster than you'd think. The prep video is what makes the difference.

Pick your time now

Looks like we've already talked.

My records show a call under this email. I keep the free sessions for first conversations so I can get to everyone, but I don't want to leave you without an answer.

Reply to any email I've sent you with your question. If it's short, I'll answer it there. If it needs more than that, I'll tell you what working together looks like.

There's someone better for this than me.

When debt has got to the point where you can't see a way through, the person to talk to is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee. They're federally regulated, the first consultation is free, and they can do things I'm not able to do: stop collection calls, negotiate with creditors, and lay out your actual options.

Where to start

I'd genuinely like to talk once you're on the other side of it. That's when planning starts to pay off. I've added you to my list, and the door's open.

That's a job for a different specialist.

Wills, tax filing, and business valuations each need someone licensed for that work: a lawyer, a CPA, or a CBV. I work alongside all three, but I can't do their jobs, and thirty minutes with me wouldn't get you what you need.

If you're in a spot where you're not sure which one you need, reply to the email I'm about to send and describe it. Pointing you to the right professional takes me two minutes and it's free.

If planning questions come up alongside it, come back and book. That part I can help with.

I'd be the wrong person to ask.

We're not in the business of stock picks, fund recommendations, or views on trading strategies, and not because I'm holding back. It's that a recommendation without a plan behind it is a guess, and guesses with your money are how people get hurt.

What I do instead is work out what the money is for, how much risk the plan can carry, and which accounts it belongs in. The picks are the last and least interesting part.

If that's a conversation you'd want, come back and start again. I'll keep sending you things worth reading either way.

These calls here are for planning, not the business.

The free sessions are reserved for people working through their own money, and I keep that line firm so the calendar stays open for them.

If you're thinking about the profession, I'm genuinely glad to hear it, and it's worth a real conversation rather than a squeezed thirty minutes. Check out the Haven Advisor Accelerator here.

I'm most useful for Canadians.

Everything I do is built on Canadian law and tax rules. Outside that system I'd be giving you a partial picture, and you deserve someone who isn't.

Look for a planner licensed where you live. In the US the equivalent credential is the CFP® as well, and the NAPFA directory is a reasonable place to start.

If you move to Canada, come find me.

That didn't go through.

Something broke on my end, not yours. Your answers are still in the page, so going back and pressing send again usually works.

If it fails twice, email info@investwithhaven.com and I'll book you in by hand.
